{PACDAA}

An affiliate of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Association of County Drug and Alcohol Administrators (PACDAA) is a professional association that represents the Single County Authorities (SCAs) across the state who receive state and federal dollars through contracts with the PA Department of Health, Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs, to plan, coordinate, programmatically and fiscally manage and implement the delivery of drug and alcohol prevention, intervention, and treatment services at the local level.

SCAs also receive funding for treatment services from the PA Department of Public Welfare (DPW), Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. These services funded by DPW are primarily targeted to individuals in non-hospital residential care who are eligible for Medical assistance, or to a continuum of treatment services for those individuals no longer eligible as a result of welfare reforms.
